Preparedness

In June and July of this year 2011, I will be utilizing my food preparedness supplies because my husband is going in for a foot operation and there will be six weeks time where there will be little money coming in to cover all our living expenses. Thank you Lord for putting it into my heart to make preparations for times such as this!

Update:  June 10, 2011 … Our God, is a God of more than enough!  I wasn’t sure how this time off was going to go but we have been able to pay all our June bills and I believe we will have enough to pay July also without having to borrow.  The only thing we will have to put on a charge card is a medical bill, some doctor apts and supplements.  I did try to cut back on my supplements and take half the dose but I cannot because I get a burning achy sensation in my stomach.  All this was without having the money in savings.  I also have been offered more hours at work that will help through this time.  Praise the Lord!!!

Update:  July 20, 2011 … We’re on the home stretch.  Hubby can go back to work in two weeks.  Yeah!!!  We have 3 bills left to pay for this month.  It’s gonna be close.  I might have to borrow a little money from the folks to get us through temporarily, but can pay them back very soon.  We put a small dent in our prepping supplies during this time, but still have a lot left.  Thank you Lord for helping us through this challenging time!!!
